would not call myself a ringer...just an average player who grew up a stones throw away (in venue terms)...given the chance to play for a great team and a brilliant set of lads...and took the oportunity to better my game....not been called that since umm bdpl b+m semi at the staff

Gramps - your 'pretty sure' is not sure enough. I did not know. I do not go on the Manny site very often as you know. If Id have known do you think I would of arranged a Rochdale Singles game on the same day? Not sure about the others. But then why would they of informed Deano, if Deano had not asked to be informed ??

To the official Bury and District Pool League website
The League has been established since 1975, and is one of the oldest pool leagues in the country. Its also claimed that it has one of the largest number of teams.
Please sign up (its free and only takes a few minutes), to gain access to all the member restricted areas.
Please note: When signing up, your account will be verified by an admin before you will be able to actually sign in to the site. This can take anytime from a few minutes to a day or so (depending on where we are!). Sorry for the inconveneince, but we have to stop spam accounts being set up.

Bury League AGM
The AGM for the upcoming Bury League will be held at the White Boar on the 2nd Feb.
This will allow for collection of the signing on sheets etc.

Pool Affected by the Whiter than White Christmas
Radcliffe Committee have informed me that they are allowing short notice of match cancellations due to the adverse weather conditions.
As we already know, a number of roads are shut, and public transport doesn't know what its doing during the summer let alone winter. So if you are unable to field a team for tomorrows match, then you can cancel it.
Please be aware that you must let the committee know about these cancellations. Also you must let the opposing team know, and the landlord of the venue.
Please give as much notice as possible. If you need to cancel and are unable to contact a member of the opposing team, the committee are there to help.
If you are planning to go ahead with the match, please drive carefully, and have a safe journey.
